I don’t even know his name but he looks very familiar to me – good old Hagrid from Harry Potter? Robin Williams from Good Will Hunting? Robinson Crusoe? John the Baptist? Karl Marx? Fidel Castro?
But the name really doesn’t matter. So what matters? His brilliant teaching skills, sense of humor, nice stories and perfect British accent. And what is the most impressive — except his beard — is his consistency. He publishes at least one new video every day (from hospital, his forest, kitchen, pub, bathroom…). He has already published more than 2,500 videos for 3 years.
His videos are quite short — on average they last only about 3 minutes. There are videos about grammar, idioms, interesting vocabulary, etc. There is even a series about “How to be polite”. The video linked above comes from this series – it presents more than 10 nice ways to react to “Thank you”. And all this with a great dose of humour (he has published a series with jokes in English as well).
You can also learn some Spanish from this guy because he lives in Spain now.
It seems he really loves to teach. I am quite impressed. What about you?
